Taste the burst, full of flavor
Taste the slurp I want to savor
 
A plate full of loops and swirls and noodles
I could devour them all—all by the oodles
 
So pass it along, with all of the seasoning
Cooked into it, after it sat on the flame simmering
 
Let me taste every leaf
Let me sense my body tingle with relief
 
I want it all, I want it now
My mouth salivates to taste just how--
 
How something so temporary can be
So very delectable, so desirable, so sweet
 
I love spaghetti
Spaghetti is delicious
Now, it will disappear
Shame it’s such a temporary presence
